1. Art for your home
If your old garage door was made of wood, then you are in luck! You can create art pieces for your home interior to give it a rustic feel to it and make your home more "artsy". You can choose to cut your garage doors into small enough pieces to be displayed in your living room walls, for your rustic theme idea. They will look great if you strip off the old paint and give it a different color by staining them into a darker wood color.
2. Raised garden beds
You can use your old garage doors as a form of frames for your raised gardens. I thought the most difficult part of teaching my son how to drive would be out on the roads, but I didn't think about what he could do to my garage door before he even left the driveway. It took one small tap with the car to damage the garage door.
